The Notre x Nike Dunk High is Inspired by Workwear

Following the release of the "Football Grey" and the "Vast Grey", we're now getting our very first Dunk High collaboration of 2021 with the Notre x Nike Dunk High. While rumours of this partnership surfaced as far back as last summer, none of the mock-ups did it justice. Teaming up with the Chicago-based retailer, it pays homage to workwear and the community as a whole.

Arriving in a duo of clean cut colourways including "Blue Void" and "Light Orewood Brown", Notre's take on the Dunk High works on a premium leather base with shaggy suede panels descending upon the ankle, heel, toebox, and lacing system. Triple-stitch detailing draws influence from hard-wearing clothing and boots, while the tongue is adorned with a patch that seems to be taken straight off a mechanic's jumpsuit.

Of course, one little detail that you might have missed comes in the form of the Nike Swoosh. While the lateral panel features the classic shape, the medial side replaces it with a pair of linking hands that's a testament to the brand's love for the community.
