adidas is going all out for the ZX Torsion silhouette this month. After unveiling the Y-3 ZX Torsion that's dropping later tonight, they have now teamed up with Footpatrol for a Notting Hill Carnival-inspired colourway, and it's the perfect shoe to bid farewell to summer 2019.
Releasing as part of their Communitas project, which aims to “lift up the communities from which they came”, the shoe is painted in an ultra clean white and grey palette with striking neon yellow accents featuring throughout. Building on a nylon, leather, mesh, and suede construction, the iconic FP gas mask logo has been reworked to wear a traditional carnival headdress, and the tongues are hole punched with the signature Consortium markings, complete with "W1/W11"; postcodes that represent the British retailer and Notting Hill's addresses, respectively.
Down below, you'll find a full length Boost midsole for unbelievable comfort with every step, and it's also been infused with a Torsion bar that gets a colourful marble effect, providing wearers with game changing support and stability.
Set to pre-launch on August 24th at Footpatrol, the Footpatrol x adidas Consortium ZX Torsion will then get a much wider release on October 11th, where it will drop worldwide.
