It looks like the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Sail" finally has a release date and it's so much sooner than we expected! Unveiled at Off-White's Fall Winter 2020 runway presentation back in February, this is just one of the many high heat collaborations that Virgil Abloh has in store for us this year, and here's everything that we know so far!
Previously teased at the American designer's "Figures of Speech" exhibition at MCA Chicago, the "Sail" builds on one of the most iconic Jumpman sneakers of all time. Painted in a creamy porcelain shade, the delicate colourway looks like something you'd find in a museum. Premium leather and suede make up the upper, while the rubberised elements have been given a slightly translucent look that introduces Abloh's deconstructed aesthetic in a subtle yet striking fashion.
Down below the Nike Air midsole is whited out and comes with "AIR" branding at the lateral heel, and to round it all off, the Milanese house's signature zip tie adorns the lacing system, finalising the clean cut design.
Expected to drop on July 25th, the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4 WMNS "Sail" is exclusive to women, but the extended size run means that some men will be able to cop as well. Let us know what you think of these, and in related news it looks like another Off-White x Nike Dunk collab is on the way!
