The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black" Is Dropping Next Month

When rumours of an Off-White x Air Jordan 5 surfaced in October last year, sneakerheads were pretty skeptical. Now, following its debut at Paris Fashion Week, everyone and their dog wants a pair, and we really don't blame them. Giving the legendary Nike AJ5 the deconstructed treatment that made "THE TEN" so iconic, Virgil Abloh's Midas touch is back and it's here to stay.

Celebrating thirty years of the Michael Jordan silhouette, the "Black" is crafted from a series of synthetic semi-translucent panels. Painted in a dark charcoal colour scheme that bears a striking resemblance to the "Black Metallic" colourway, the Louis Vuitton designer's signature use of technical verbiage and quoted text makes a return, along with a few circles at the lateral and medial sides that can actually be cut out for a DIY-inspired vibe.

Moving downwards, you'll find the famed P-51 Mustang-inspired midsole with speckled grey detailing and a pre-worn yellow outsole, finalising the design.

Now for that all-important release date.
