NBA All-Star Weekend is literally just around the corner, and to celebrate the event's host city of Chicago, Jordan Brand have tapped eight creatives from the Windy City for the Nike "8x8" Collection. Offering up a range of sneakers and apparel, the pack is inspired by city-specific transit line colours.
To kick things off, Off-White founder Virgil Abloh will finally be unleashing the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black". A hyped collab that's been making rounds in the sneakersphere over the past few month, he'll also be dropping a range of clothing dipped in his signature black and red makeup.
Jumpman's Jordan Wings initiative will also release their very own Air Jordan 10 that combines all eight Chicago transit lines, as well as a T-shirt and a hoodie. Chance The Rapper's SocialWorks makes an appearance too, creating the Air Jordan 1 KO as well as various other pieces.
In addition to this, music video creator Cole Bennett and his Lyrical Lemonade imprint take on the Jordan Aerospace 720, and legendary Chicago streetwear boutique SucceZZ is present as well, dropping a range of hoodies and tees that are a nod to the heavily trafficked Yellow Line.
Finally, Jordan Brand have united with Cody Hudson, Sheila Rashid, and Drew the Barber for a wide range of hyped pieces, with the highlight being Rashid's coloured blocked Air Jordan 1 that we showcased just yesterday.
If you're interested in any of these pieces, the Jordan Brand "8×8" Collection will drop at Nike on February 15th. Closer looks and additional release info are expected very soon, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier!
