It’s been almost a year since Virgil Abloh sadly passed away, but having been the busiest man in fashion it's no surprise that he still has a number of projects that are set to see the light of day. Having picked back up on their collaborative efforts with the approval of his wife Shannon Abloh earlier last year, Nike has continued to release models from its Off-White collaboration, so that sneakerheads all over the world have a chance to own a small slice of sneaker history. This silhouette is even more special because it's reportedly one of Virgil’s original designs, so here’s an early look at the Off-White x Nike Air Terra Forma.
This isn’t the first Terra sneaker to see an original spin (we have Drake to thank for the Hot Step Air Terra of course) but it's refreshing to see Nike allow talent to experiment with their own takes. The sneaker is set to arrive in two colourways: "White" and "Wheat", so here's what to expect from the new style.
As expected, Virgil’s design is highly conceptual - and sees a chunky, mid-cut silhouette come with all the signature Of-White detailing you already know and love. A paneled upper gives way to stitched Swooshes, stamped branding and orange tabs, while a zipped shroud sits just behind the lacing system to conceal oversized branded tongues. Underfoot, a chunky multi-coloured midsole comes with a visible Air Unit, and spiked rubber outsoles are marked with the words “TREAD LIGHTLY”.

Up next, is a Supreme and Balenciaga collab on the horizon?
