Following rumours that the collection was set to launch imminently last week, the long-awaited Jil Sander+ x Arc'teryx FW21 collaboration is finally here in all its glory. The collection is comprised of both menswear and womenswear and features a range of performance and outdoor-ready silhouettes.
The full collection was first announced in December of 2020 and was subject to a minor delay mid-way through the year due to unknown complications.
The capsule itself draws inspiration from skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering to create a range of outerwear shapes and silhouettes as well as matching technical trousers. In one of the images, we see a black jacket complete with a trio of zips across the centre, pocket and arm of the piece. In addition, this jacket features a contrasting orange inner around the hood.
Arc'teryx's technical fabrics such as 3L GORE-TEX ensure the majority of the collection boasts both waterproof and windproof capabilities while Jil Sanders unique take on both form and function provides a clean-cut take on the range of silhouettes.
The full collection will be available on both Jil Sanders' and Arc'teryx's websites from November 10th. In other news, rumours of a potential Gucci x Xbox collaboration surface.
