For the first time ever, legendary UK-based skateboarding label Palace is set to join forces with Californian footwear brand Vans. While the duo might have seemed like a natural blend, it’s taken up until now for them to work on a product together. Working on the Vans Authentic, the pair features a bold graphic print that depicts “Jeremy the Duck”, a hardworking Palace employee.
Jeremy is apparently “employee of the month, every month” according to Palace, and also features across the matching apparel collection which will launch alongside the sneakers. The collection was unveiled via a not-so-serious imagery campaign, in typical fashion for the British brand. Take a closer look right here at The Sole Supplier!
Crafted from hard-wearing canvas, the Authentic is ready to be skated within inches of its life, and showcases classic Vans features such as a checkerboard logo tab and contrast stitching. While Jeremy adorns the uppers, the whited-out midsoles are printed with both Vans’ classic logo and Palace’s iconic tri-ferg, once again pointing to the collaborative nature of the pair.
If you’re looking to cop the Palace x Vans Authentic or any of the accompanying apparel collection, you can get your hands on it via Palace’s online store or physical locations from the 2nd July. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and while you’re here check out the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike AF1 pack!
