The Patta x New Balance 990v3 Collection Celebrates Family Ties

Long-time collaborators Patta and New Balance have a number of joint efforts under their belts already, but to mark the third year of the partnership the duo is set to release one of their cleanest collections to date. Celebrating the importance of togetherness and grounded in the motto ‘Keep Your Family Close’, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 and matching clothing capsule will drop in full family sizing, so here’s everything you need to know.

The 990v3 has already enjoyed quite the revival this year thanks to the likes of JJJJound and Teddy Santis, and now Patta has put its own spin on the silhouette, dressing it in neutrals and greens in line with the collection's family tree theme. Staying true to the model’s usual construction, the pair comes decked out in premium materials such as olive-coloured pigskin suede, and beige-toned breathable mesh.

Accents arrive in the form of neon green leather detailing at the toebox, as well as metallic Patta branding towards the heel of the sneakers. New Balance detailing transpires in matching grey tones, and can be spotted on the heel tab, tongue tab and quarter-panels. This all sits atop the 990v3’s signature comfy ENCAP midsole unit, which comes adorned with speckled panels and black rubber outsoles.

The Patta x New Balance 990v3 will release alongside a collection of sweats, tees and joggers that all feature co-branded details and family tree-themed graphics alongside the “Keep Your Family Close” tagline. The capsule will be available to shop on September 30th exclusively at Patta, with a wider release planned for the 7th October.
