The Patta x Vans Chukka and Style 36 Pay Homage to Rudeboy Culture
Amsterdam-based sneaker retailer Patta has collaborated with a long list of footwear brands over the years, including Vans, it’s latest returning collaborator. The duo have teamed up to offer a fresh take on both the Style 36 and the Chukka 79, drawing influence from British-Jamaican rudeboy culture.
We’ve got a first look at both of the upcoming pairs right here at The Sole Supplier, so read on for a detailed dive and all the release information you need in regards to this high-heat collaborative capsule!
First up, the Chukka 79 is crafted from premium quality canvas throughout and decked out in colours that represent the rastafari flag, with Patta’s signature handstyle logo printed across the heels in white for a timeless look.
The Style 36 on the other hand showcases a Union Jack themed colour scheme, with Patta’s logo once again appearing across the heels. Both pairs sit on top of rubber midsoles, with the words “OUT IN THE STREETS” printed across each of the sidewalls as a homage to reggae artist Ini Kamoze.
If you’re looking to cop either pair from the upcoming Patta x Vans collection, both are set to drop on October 31st via Patta’s online store, so make sure you’re ready for the drop! In the meantime, keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier and check out our brand-new clothing collection while you’re here!
