The Prada x adidas Superstar was one of last year's most controversial sneakers. Following a teaser that caused much fanfare amongst the community, sneakerheads were left quite underwhelmed when the final product was unveiled, with many calling the shoe too simple and too expensive. Well, after a few months, the Three Stripes have remedied this by unveiling two new colourways that are as understated as they get.
Available in "Core Black" and "Core White" colour schemes, the brand new Prada Superstars take the monochromatic aesthetic to the next level. Handmade in Italy with the finest of leathers, serrated Three Stripe branding runs across the lateral and medial side panels while the classic shell toe makes its way to the front.
"Prada: Made In Italy" is debossed onto the heel, and to round off the ultra luxurious collaboration, a custom full grain insole can be found within, etched with co-branded detailing.
Set to drop sometime in March, the Prada x adidas Superstar "Core Black" and "Core White" won't be as limited as the first release and they also won't come with the Prada x adidas Bowing Bag. That said, this means each pair will be around £350 which is £2,000 cheaper than December's version. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation, and while you're here, take your first look at the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar "SUPEREARTH"!
