As if having an Olympic silver medal at 15 years old wasn't cool enough, now Rayssa Leal is set to get her own collaborative Nike SB Dunk . Following leaks earlier in the year, official images of this upcoming silhouette have now landed, and by all accounts, it's unique.
For those unfamiliar with Rayssa Leal, she is a fifteen-year-old skateboarder hailing from Brazil. After going viral at age 7 for her skills, Rayssa went on to become the youngest Olympic medalist in 85 years when she earned a silver medal at the 2020 games.
Now, in celebration of all things skateboarding, Nike x Rayssa have come together to put their own twist on the ever-popular SB Dunk. At first glance, there's quite a lot to take in about this model. What looks to be beige suede and white leather makes up the upper, with the opposing layers flaunting a unique pattern.
Elsewhere, Nike's Swoosh features in both a navy and purple hue on either side of the shoe, with the navy extending to the collar and the purple to an "R" for Rayssa at the heel. To put a final stamp on this pair, a purple patch sits atop each tongue, proudly rocking a "Rayssa's Dunk" text imprint.
It's unclear when exactly the Rayssa Leal x Nike SB Dunk Low will land, but we're expecting it to be in time for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games next year. Up next, we might have to wait a little while for the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack .
