The Reebok Club C is one of the cleanest silhouettes of all time that was originally developed as a tennis shoe way back in 1985. Since then it has been adopted by countless style curators on the street and has even received popularity in the skate culture due to a hugely successful collaboration with Palace Skateboards. 2020 sees the Club C celebrate its 35th anniversary, and Reebok are honouring the impressive achievement by launching a commemorative double pack that pays homage to the vintage influences.
The capsule consists of two colourways that stay true to the originals from 1985. Both adopt a classic chalk white base layer, while one opts for minimalistic green details in the form of a tab on the lateral side, the other is painted with subtle navy-blue colour blocking across the heel and uppers. Both pairs are crafted from premium quality supple leathers that will age beautifully over time.
Additional details honour the shoe’s legacy such as a special edition tongue tab embroidered with each pairs original factory colour code and serial number, a silver-tone metal anniversary hang tag and “1985” debossed on the heel panels.
If you’re feeling the Reebok Club C "Vintage" Pack, the good news is that they’re available now from select retailers, so don’t hesitate to pick up this heritage pair as it’s sure to make a worthy addition to the rotation of any sneakerhead. If you like vintage-inspired pairs, check out the recent adidas Originals Superstan “Cloud White”.
