Just when you thought London skate imprint Palace couldn't top this year's collaborations with the likes of Calvin Klein, Engineered Garments, and New Balance, the brand has truly bought out the big guns. After rumours first started surfacing over the last few months, it is now official that Palace x Gucci Vault will be coming together to deliver a collaborative collection.
Just this morning, Gucci took to Instagram to announce the collaboration with a post that reads "THINGS ARE LOOKING UP • PALACE GUCCI IS HERE • LAUNCHING OCTOBER 21 ONLY ON VAULT." Accompanying the post, we see an oddly cryptic image of well-dressed people staring at the sky in shock against what seems to be a London backdrop.
Following this, the brand posted a bizarre video highlighting select pieces from the collection. From what we can make out, we can expect an array of both apparel and accessories, with bright and bold football kits on show alongside Tri-Ferg-bearing clutch bags.
The collaboration is due to launch first on October 21st directly via Gucci Vault. Following this, we're likely to see the Gucci x Palace collaboration launch at both pop-ups and Palace's retail locations. Check out the promotion video below, and crack open those piggy banks, because this one is going to be very sought after. In other fashion news, Patta bolsters its cold-weather offerings with its FW22 puffer jackets.
