Following the release of his second New Balance 2002R at the end of last month, Salehe Bembury has now set his sights on Crocs with the upcoming Salehe Bembury x Crocs Classic Clog. Very obviously a direct competitor to Kanye West's Yeezy Foam Runner, this is literally unlike anything we've seen before.
Boasting a one-piece foam construction that offers cloud-like comfort, Bembury has adapted his signature fingerprint-inspired stylings to the Classic Clog. The model's iconic perforations work around the grooves, while a translucent black rubber panel wraps around the front of the shoe for added protection.
To the back you'll find a single black strap that offers a sense of utility to the design. It's also attached onto a heel plate that shows off the "Crocs x Salehe Bembury" branding. Rounding it all off is a ridged outsole underfoot which bears a striking resemblance to the unit found on the upcoming Derrick Rose x Yeezy.
A release date has yet to be officially announced for the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Classic Clog, but with autumn coming just around the corner we expect these to drop sooner rather than later. Let us know what you think of this crazy clog collaboration, and in related news, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance Test Run Project 3.0 is wonderfully wild!
