The Salehe Bembury x New Balance Test Run Project 3.0 is Wonderfully Wild
Following the release of the insanely hyped 2002R collaboration at the end of last year, we're now taking our first glimpse at the Salehe Bembury x New Balance Test Run Project 3.0 - and it's as weird and wild as it gets. Taking on the crazy technical trainer that isn't for the faint of heart, the American designer took to his official Instagram to give us a sneak peek.
Just like his other New Balance collaboration, every millimetre of space is packed with detail here. Crafted from an arsenal of premium material, the base is done up in a leopard print while elasticated straps shoot across the upper with a variety of prints and motifs. Fuzzy grey suede descends upon the lateral side of the toebox, while the medial is reserved for a patch of white leather.
Around the back you'll find blue and teal mesh elements, and down below, a marbled FreshFoam midsole midsole features for optimum comfort. This is then lined with a Vibram rubber outsole for durable traction with every step.
If wouldn't be a shoe from the ex-Head of Sneakers at Versace without an abundance of logos. Bembury's name appears on a vertical orange tongue tab in a neon green hue, while a co-branded leather hangtag also features with <TEST_RUN PRJ 3.0> debossed for a deconstructed look.
Pretty much nothing else is known about the Salehe Bembury x New Balance Test Run PRJ 3.0 at this moment in time, but these are going straight into our collections as soon as they drop - that's if we don't drown in Ls of course. Let us know what you think of this crazy collab, and in related news, undefined!
