The Simpsons x adidas Superstar "Snowball" Pays Homage to a Cartoon Feline

As the latest addition to an ongoing capsule between The Simpsons and adidas Originals, the two brands have unveiled a crazy-looking take on the Superstar that’s dedicated to the iconic TV family’s pet cat Snowball (or more specifically, Snowball II). Titled the The Simpsons x adidas Originals Superstar “Snowball”, the model shows an avant-garde look that’s reminiscent of a classic Jeremy Scott collaboration.

The entire uppers of the sneakers are decked out in black fur-like fabric, and the pair actually gets rid of the lacing system that’s typically included on a Superstar, instead making the model a slip-on.

Cat-like details are dotted around the sneakers including a depiction of Snowball’s facial features, a tail on the heel and even ears attached to the lateral and medial sides. While a lot has changed, some classic Superstar features such as the shell-toe and chunky midsole remain present as ever.
