The Sole Supplier Edit #6: Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape

Having taken 2022 by storm, Nike's Terrascape pack defines what it is to successfully take a classic silhouette and rework it to suit current trends. As well as being one of the sickest models on the market right now, the Air Max 90 Terrascape combines all that we love about the 33-year-old Air Max 90, and adds a sustainable Nike Grind rubber outsole that contributes to their Move To Zero promise. This truly is the future of sneakers.

Staying true to the AM 90 we know and love, both Terrascape pairs still possess the iconic Waffle outsole, stitched-on panelling and the TPU accents across the upper, only this time around, we are also treated to the new Terrascape logo on the tongue and a durable Crater Foam midsole. So, whether you're hitting the streets or heading somewhere a little more rugged, the Air Max 90 Terrascape is there to see you every step of the way.

First seen in 1987, both of these pairs house a visible Air Unit in true 90s style; it's not surprising given the model's running history. The "Vivid Green" colourway above shows off a lime-hued Nike Swoosh that matches to the translucent outsole, laces, and heel panel at the rear of the shoe. However, if you're looking for something a little more subtle, then the "Off-Noir" iteration below is surely a must-cop. "Summit White" dresses the Swoosh this time, allowing the Nike branding to stand out loud and proud against a dark canvas and mesh backdrop.
