After their first team effort earlier on this year, adidas Originals and South Park are teaming up once again to launch two brand new models dedicated to two of the show’s lead characters. The pairs are inspired by the signature looks from each character which haven’t changed too much over the years, so they sit perfectly well upon these two favourable silhouettes.
First up we have the Superstar which is based on Kyle Broflovski, who is known for rocking a two-tone green look. The uppers are crafted from premium leather while furry light green touches adorn the heel tabs and three stripe branding. Orange details finish off the look and stash pockets can also be found at the tongue, along with dual-branded insoles.
Kenneth “Kenny” McCormick’s NMD R1 instead opts for an eye-catching orange look that’s detailed with graphic-printed imperfections, a nod to the many accidents he’s had during the course of the show. Dark brown accents also feature alongside “OMGTKK” branding on the bumpers, standing for Oh My God, They Killed Kenny, a popular reference from the TV show.
If you’re looking to get your hands on either of the two South Park x adidas sneakers then you’ll have to sit tight a little longer just yet, as neither of the pairs are set to drop until early 2022. Keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier as we’ll update you as soon as we know more, and while you’re here check out the latest regarding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Blue Tint”!
