The South Park x adidas NMD R1 Kenny is made in the loving memory of the fictional Kenny McCormick. This adidas NMD R1’s upper is splashed with a distinct fluorescent shade that is reminiscent of the “South Park” character’s iconic orange parka jacket. As an immortal, Kenny has endured many bizarre deaths — from surgeons accidentally replacing his heart with a potato to being killed off by aliens.
This has led to the catchphrase “Oh my God, they killed Kenny!” which adidas gives a nod to with an “OMGTKK” text in the mudguard. Pops of purple and black quirky graphics across the shoe round off the design that’s as quirky and out of this world as Kenny.
