Following on from the popular release of the Nike Air Force 1 Suede "Summit White", the Swoosh Brand have unveiled a re-release of their "The One Line" sneakers. This pair pays homage to the first time Nike and a Chinese factory joined forces to produce a line of test running shoes back in the 1980s, and now we can take a look at the official images of this re-imagined pair 40 years later.
The original shoes swapped out the Nike Swoosh for the white stripe down the side of the upper, and you can see the same inspiration here despite the Swoosh remaining in its rightful place. Complementing the cool tones is a luxe grey suede, which covers the toe box and cap, heel and foxing and allows the aforementioned Swoosh to stand out in leather. An off-white midsole adds a vintage element to this sneaker and suits the "Sail" lace unit perfectly. We've seen a slew of these soles, but we're not complaining. It makes such a nice change to the crisp white we're used to.
As we turn to the back of the sneaker, the usual Nike Air Force 1 branding is swapped out for embroidered "NAI-KE" lettering, whilst hints of navy add contrast on the midsole and the first set of eyelets. Pale Nike Air branding can be found at the top of the tongue, whilst the inside reads “Elevating Inner Peace Through Sports”.
We're not yet aware of a UK release date for this premium pair, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we know of one. Has the Nike Air Force 1 "NAI-KE" Grey/White gone straight on your must-cop list?
