Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to see their grails in hand. For those of you who live in places where the sneaker scene is pretty much non-existent, Instagram is an essential tool for you to scout your next cop.
Not only do IG-ers post photos of their latest pick ups, there’s also an abundance of on feet shots too, which let people see what sneakers actually look like when they’re worn. With all that said, we’ve made it our duty to find the top ten on feet shots on Instagram which beautifully showcase some of the most hyped kicks available right now.
To start things off, here’s an on feet shot that takes flexing to the next level. Coming from Ottawa based sneaker and streetwear photographer Javier Garcia, the photo showcases an ultra clean Balenciaga Speed Trainer on the right, and a stealthy pair of adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2s on the left. Off-White and adidas socks complement both creps perfectly, and the subtle pop of colour gives this pic an aesthetic to die for.
Coming straight from the Instagram of A One Kicks comes this dope on feet look. Pairing black pants with a pristine pair of Air Jordan 11 ‘Space Jams’, this photo perfectly presents the legendary sneakers in a crispy clean fashion. Mirroring the shoes that Michael Jordan wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs, you can see the black mesh overlays combined with the patent leather design. Additionally, the number ‘45‘ is incorporated on the heel, representing MJ’s jersey number from the 1996 movie.
Taking on feet photos to the next level, Ray Guzman pairs the adidas Originals Inikis with matching Trefoil socks and Three Stripe branded pants. Flexing the sneaker’s vibrant red rubber outsole, this is just one of those photos that you just have to ‘Like’ on IG. Sitting on a bed of bouncy Boost, the Inikis are some of the most comfortable creps that you can cop right now, and the fact that a lot of pairs are just sitting is baffling.
Regarded by many as the U.K.s biggest hypebeast, Ari Petrou sure knows how to flex. A complete contrast from the first shot on this list, Ari wears a pair of Supreme x Louis Vuitton Jacquard Denim Jeans, and dons the infamous Balenciaga Triple S sneaker on feet, stepping on the Spanish luxury brand’s Speed Trainer. Whether you like it or not, the ‘dad shoe‘ trend is here to stay, and this on feet shot is definitely making a statement.
After photos of an adidas Originals NMD R2 ‘Chinese New Year’ surfaced online yesterday, it’s good to go back in time and take a look at the best CNY themed sneaker to ever drop from The Brand With The Three Stripes. Without a doubt one of the hottest Ultra Boosts, this on feet shot from Angela the Boost Goddess showcases the kick’s highly detailed silhouette flawlessly. Featuring red, black, and white Primeknit and a Boost midsole, these are one of the few UBs that make use of custom laces, and boy, are they wonderful.
September 23rd marked the release of the Nike Air Max 1 OG Red, and Maximilian L didn’t skimp on posting an absolutely fire shot of the legendary silhouette. Showcasing the vibrant red panels contrasted with neutral white and grey tones, this photo from the Germany based sneaker photographer definitely deserve a spot on this list.
It’s a cardinal rule that you can’t wear Nike socks with adidas sneakers, and vice versa. But what you can do is don the adidas Nemeziz Tango Ultra Boost with a pair of Off-White socks, and finish it off with the highly sought after United Arrows x adidas track pants that had everyone buzzing earlier this year. And this is exactly what sneaker photographer Nim Tran has done. With a clean aesthetic and an ultra unique take on the conventional on feet shot, we salute you Nim.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the adidas Originals EQT Support 93/17 is one of the best sneakers to come out of 2017, and this white and ‘Turbo Red’ colourway is definitely no exception. Coming straight from the Insta of Shoebertt, this shot effortlessly shows off the shoe’s extra chunky Boost midsole and clean white upper. A hit of colour can be seen around the heel portion of the EQT, giving it an ultra unique look.
Carrying on with the adidas Originals Iniki love, Jacon Branson flexes a pair of greyed out Inikis and complements them with some cozy grey pants and an oversized Champion sweater which is perfect for the autumn months. There’s no arguing that this photo deserves a spot on this week’s best on feet shots. Keep them coming, Jacob.
And last but not least comes this shot from Germany based sneaker and fashion photographer Patrick. Flexing the best adidas Ultra Boost ‘Multi-Colors’ to ever drop, Patrick complements the colourful creps with a pair of understated jeans, further accentuating the beauty of the ultra unique sneakers.
