The hype surrounding Travis Scott’s upcoming Nike Air Max 1 collaboration continues to grow, as another colourway has just leaked to the masses. The Air Max 1 is well and truly back after several high-profile releases this year, and if the silhouette has the Travis stamp of approval then it’s likely to continue rising in popularity, which we’re absolutely here for! Dubbed the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat”, this pair showcases similar neutral hues to the other pairs which we’ve had a sneak peek of.
As of yet it’s unclear just how many colourways are set to launch, however this pair in particular comprises of a wheat-hued suede upper along with dark brown and off-white accents, forming a neat combination. Of course, a Travis Scott sneaker wouldn’t be complete without backwards Swoosh branding, which is present on both the lateral and medial sides.
Other key details include rope style laces that are attached to a contemporary lacing system that fastens at the heel, Cactus Jack branding on the tongue tabs and a red inner lining. This all sits on top of an aged-white midsole unit that also contains a pre-yellowed visible Air Max bubble, borrowing aesthetics from the current vintage trend.
While many sneakerheads are waiting for further details regarding this collection, rumour has it that this pair might see an exclusive release via Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival, that’s set to take place on the first weekend of November. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and while you’re here, check out this autumnal Air Max 95 that’s launching soon!
