Following the official release of their Dunk Low , we're now taking a look at a third Union LA x Nike Cortez colourway that's expected to drop soon. A collaboration that's been on our radar since the end of last year, this may just be the most wearable pair of the trio - and here's everything that you need to know!
Insanely unique, Chris Gibbs' take on the iconic Cortez is unlike anything we've seen before. Working on top of a ballistic mesh base that's painted in pink and yellow sherbet tones, light grey panels wrap around the rest of the upper with bright blue hues adding further contrast to the shoe.
A Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, and the classic Cortez heel is overlaid by another badge that's embossed with the Los Angeles brand's signature Frontman logo. ULA's iconic yellow tag is stitched onto the lacing system, and if you look closely at the deubré you'll find that it's laser etched with "Cortez '72", which harkens back to the year that the legendary silhouette first made its debut.
