Kanye West is no stranger when it comes to crazy kicks - take the Yeezy 500 and the Yeezy 700 for example. While they are now leaders in the chunky trainer game, there's no questioning that sneakerheads were a little weirded out by them when they were first unveiled. Now, we're taking a look at the unreleased Yeezy 450 Slide, and it's unlike anything we've ever seen before!
Like a hybrid between last weekend's Yeezy Slide and the upcoming Yeezy Foam Runner, the 450 Slide features a full EVA foam build that's soft and comfortable to the touch. The top of the slider features a netted construction that bears a striking resemblance to a spider's web, and if you thought that was a bit strange, wait until you check out the sole.
While the footbed itself takes on the usual look, the outsole is pure insanity. Extremely wavy, it begs the question if these even provide any sort of grip especially on wet surfaces. It's all rounded off with an "adidas" logo that's debossed onto the heel.
Whether or not you're a fan of the adidas Yeezy 450 Slide is up to you, but one thing that's for sure is that these will not be getting a release - not anytime soon anyway. Let us know what you think of these, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Asriel" is dropping later this year!
