Boston-based footwear imprint New Balance shows no sign of slowing down when it comes to collaborations. It's only been around a week since we saw a glimpse of the upcoming offering with Concepts on the New Balance 57/40 and Louis De Guzman's New Balance 574. And now, it appears that military-inspired Japanese label WTAPS have just hopped aboard to unveil the WTAPS x New Balance 990v2.
Unlike the duo's first ensemble last year that saw WTAPS' signature olive green colour across the NB992 model, the WTAPS 990v2 utilises New Balance's grey colourway instead.
All the silhouettes linked to New Balance's 99x series accommodate a premium blend of supple suede and breathable mesh, so this co-branded 990v2 is no exception. The tonal grey AZBORB midsole unit downside offers exceptional cushioning to the feet, and the WTAPS branding spellout on the heel windows provide a high-profile look that all New Balance heads are fond of.
The WTAPS x New Balance 990v2 "Grey" is no doubt on the must-have list of many, so make sure you keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier if you do not want to take an L on the latest New Balance releases. In similar news, the AAPE x New Balance 703 is dropping in three colourways!
