Kanye seems to be keeping the goods coming this year, as another Yeezy 350 looks set to drop within the next few months. Joining the recently announced “Onyx” is the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “MX Blue,” which sees Ye’s all-over swirl pattern take on a number of blue tones across the top of the sneaker. The “MX” pattern seems to be a firm favourite with sneakerheads and Yeezy fans, and this new blue colourway is a welcome addition to the brand's spring line-up.
With dark and light blue tones swirling over a cream base, the “MX Blue” Yeezys have a sort of frosted look to them. Early takes on the sneaker suggest that the Primeknit base will be made of monofilament, a more sustainable material than earlier models, although this is yet to be confirmed. The signature Yeezy side stripe comes dressed in a tonal grey mesh, which goes nicely with the blue tones of the sneaker.
The Yeezy pull tab comes in a bluey-grey tone, and sky blue takes over the laces. The translucent midsole also sports a tinged blue hue to round off the “Frost Blue” 350’s colourway, and of course houses the Yeezy 350’s comfortable adidas Boost cushioning.
The “MX Frost Blue” adidas Yeezy 350 V2 is rumoured to be dropping on March 5th, so let’s hope we’ll have some blue skies to go with them. Until then, be sure to stay tuned for more updates and any official images, and head over to our Instagram and Twitter to share your thoughts with us!
