When the 450 was first teased all the way back in 2018, we knew straight away that it was going to be one of Ye's most ambitious silhouettes to date. Fast forward three years and this bold statement remains true, with upcoming colourways like the Yeezy 450 "Black Resin" epitomising this.
Unveiled by sneaker insider @yankeekicks, the "Black Resin" is at its sample stage at the moment but if they do manage to get a retail release they'll look pretty similar to this, albeit probably with a different colourway name. A hybrid between the upcoming "Resin" and the legendary "Dark Slate", the upper is painted in a clean cream cue and is crafted from Primeknit. Inbuilt eyelets harken back to the 350 V2, while the stretchy collar is a nod to do 380.
Down below, you'll find the iconic EVA foam midsole that seems to be inspired by shark teeth. While it doesn't make use of adidas Boost tech, it's still crazy comfortable. Dipped in an all-black palette, the outsole features a contrasting gum rubber look that we absolutely adore, finalising the Yeezy design.
The adidas Yeezy 450 "Dark Resin" has no official release date at this moment in time, but as soon as they're confirmed we'll be the first to let you know! Let us know what you think of this sample, and in related news, the Yeezy Knit Runner "Stone Carbon" has been unveiled!
