After taking our best look yet at the Yeezy 500 High "Slate" last week, we're now getting a glimpse of the brand new Yeezy 700 "Carbon Blue" that was rumoured earlier this year, and it certainly isn't what we expected. When renders surfaced back in October, the shoe was allegedly painted in a neon blue colour scheme, but that's far from the case.
Image courtesy of sneaker insider Yeezy Mafia, the "Carbon Blue" fuses four of the chunky silhouette's most iconic colourways into one, namely the "Wave Runner", the "Mauve", the "Salt", and of course, the "Inertia". Featuring a suede, leather and mesh construction, each colourway's palette can be seen clearly throughout the shoe, resulting in the perfect amount of contrast that's just right.
Down below, a full length Boost midsole is present for comfort and cushioning that's as revolutionary as the silhouette itself. This is lined with gum rubber for added durability and traction with every step.
Now for that all-important release date. According to our sources, the Yeezy 700 "Carbon Blue" will be hitting shelves on December 21st, essentially making it the last Kanye West sneaker of 2019. Let us know if you'll be adding a pair to your collection, and be sure to check out all the other Yeezys dropping next month!
