When the Yeezy 700 MNVN "Black" first leaked at the end of last year, we were pretty pumped to say the least. Set to be the first Kanye West x adidas shoe to drop as part of the "Minivan" series, we expected these to be an entry-level Yeezy 700 that's a lot more accessible to the general public. Now, it looks like our predictions could all be wrong, as it could end up being one of the most exclusive Yeezys ever made.
A deconstructed take on Ye's beloved chunky shoe, the "Black" is painted all over in murdered out colour scheme. Striking "700" branding shoots diagonally across the laterals, while the medial side is left clean and untouched.
3M accents are peppered throughout the nylon upper for a look that is sure to turn heads, and if you haven't noticed already, the lacing system can't actually be tied, instead it acts more like a sock-like shoe in that you slip in and out without having to adjust anything.
Unlike the 700 V3 "Azael" that launched in December, adidas Boost tech makes a return here, providing comfort and cushioning that has yet to be beaten even after half a decade.
Now for that all-important release info. Previously expected to hit shelves at the end of the month, the Yeezy 700 MNVN "Black" will now be dropping this weekend on February 8th, exclusively in-store in London, New York, and Tokyo. Expected to be extremely limited, be sure to head over to adidas for more information on the release!
