Earlier this year, Kanye West randomly took to Twitter to reveal hundreds of upcoming Yeezy colourways. From the 500 all the way to the QNTM, one pair that really stood out to us was the Yeezy 700 "Sun", and it looks like it's going to be his first release of 2021.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Wave Runner" that started a movement back in 2017, the "Sun" has been infused with a few ultra unique elements that makes it unlike anything we've seen before. Rising in a bold gold hue, the leather, mesh, and suede construction is contrasted with black, blue, and green tones just like the OG. Light grey laces tie everything together, while a healthy dose of 3M reflective accents make their way to the lateral heel.

Shifting your focus down below, you'll find an extra chunky adidas Boost midsole that's doused in an orange colour palette. This is then lined with a dark brown rubber outsole, resulting in a gradient effect that's clearly inspired by a sunrise.
As for a release date, the adidas Yeezy 700 "Sun" will be rising at the end of the month on January 23rd. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Ash Stone"!
