It's crazy to think that the last time we got a 700 V2 release was all the way back in September 2019 with the "Hospital Blue". Since then, Kanye West and adidas have focused more of their efforts on newer silhouettes such as the 380 and the QNTM, but now, it looks like the power duo will be going back to basics with the brand new Yeezy 700 V2 "Cream", and we're taking our first look yet.
As clean as it gets, the "Cream" bears a striking resemblance to 2018's "Static" but it's been infused with tan accents and pink tones. Featuring a leather, mesh, and suede construction that we all know and love, the lateral and medial side panels are adorned with reflective Three Stripes. A U-shaped panel adorns the toebox for a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, while slight perforations to the heel offer up a futuristic vibe that's hard to ignore.
Of course, you can't talk about this Yeezy without mentioning the aggressively designed adidas Boost midsole underfoot. As chunky as it gets, it quite literally takes comfort and cushioning to the next level, and is lined with a slither of gum rubber for good measure.
Not much else is known about the adidas Yeezy 700 V2 "Cream" at this moment in time, but according to sneaker insider @py_rates, a March 2021 release is imminent. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation, and in related news, the Yeezy 450 "Nuriel" is also dropping early next year!
