“Sulfur” seems to be the go-to shade at Yeezy right now, with it having dressed a number of styles over the past couple of months. Now, it’s the turn of one of Yeezy’s older silhouettes, the Yeezy Boost 700, a shoe that, since the “Wave Runner,” has become a canvas for exploring some of the brand’s brighter colour palettes. Ditching the usual colourful panels for a washed-out yellow hue, the Yeezy Boost 700 “Sulfur Yellow” in a way brings Yeezy full circle, with earth and desert tones taking over the sneaker.
The “Sulfur Yellow” Yeezy 700 starts off with an olive green and yellow suede base, with a hint of tan suede decorating the toebox. These overlays give way to tonal mesh panels on the front and midfoot, and a heavier duty mesh can be spotted around the ankle. The heel of the “Sulfur” 700 is wrapped in an olive-toned suede, which comes dotted with 3M detailing for a little extra flair. 3M panels also appear on the midfoot section of the sneaker, allowing you to flex in low-light conditions, too.
Below, the earthy “Sulfur Yellow” upper comes mated to a dark brown sole unit, the shape and perforations following the usual mould for the sneaker. Of course, the sole comes kitted out with adidas’ Boost technology for a super-comfy underfoot feel. A pair of dark charcoal laces ties the “Sulfur” 700 colourway all together.
The “Sulfur Yellow” adidas Yeezy Boost 700 is expected to drop later this spring. If it’s one for your must-cop list be sure to keep it locked for more info and images as they come in, as we’ll be the first to let you know!
