While you might be wondering to yourself, "What happened to the Yeezy Foam Runner "Ochre"? Wasn't it meant to be yellow?" This is something that happens pretty often in the sneaker world. Remember the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Yecheil"? When it first leaked it was meant to be dipped in a vibrant lilac, but as soon as it officially launched we soon realised it was as beige as ever, just like the "Ochre" right here.
Dipped in a clean beige palette, this Foam Runner is crafted from a one-piece EVA foam construction that's infused with algae for an ultra sustainable approach. A slew of perforations surround the entire upper for an ultra breathable experience, while the bottom of the Yeezy features a series of fine ridges for added traction with every step.
Speaking of which, the midsole has these two massive ovals around the back which harkens back to other Kanye West silhouettes. To us, we can really see the resemblance with the Yeezy Boost 700 here.
Originally set to drop at the end of last month, the adidas Yeezy Foam RNNR "Ochre" has now been pencilled in for a September 18th release. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Yeezy 450 "Resin"!
