Just last week, adidas finally announced that will be dropping Yeezys again from the 1st of June, and now we’ve finally been given a glimpse at the pairs we can expect. A landing page that’s now live on adidas UK showcased a number of styles that are set to make a comeback, so here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming drop.
The page showcased everything from 350s to Foam Runners, and as expected, there are a couple of fan-favourites in there, too. Alongside the previously announced Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” and the “Utility Black” Yeezy 500, fans can expect to see a brand-new “Carbon Beluga” 350 V2, and the return of the Yeezy Boost 700 “Salt” amongst others. Summery options include “Azure” and “Onyx” Yeezy Slides, and two colourways of the Yeezy Foam Runner.
However, the most exciting restock has to be the return of the Yeezy Boost 350 “Pirate Black”. One of the most coveted pairs of all-time, the shoe was tipped to restock earlier this year, though the termination of the Yeezy deal threw a spanner in the works. Now, the pair will be available for the first time since 2016, a nostalgic look back at a very distinct time in streetwear history, and a reminder of how much we preferred the old Kanye.
Though some may feel conflicted about adidas’ decision to continue selling Yeezy products, it's worth bearing in mind that a portion of the sale will go towards charities in an effort to fight racism, discrimination and antisemitism. That being said, Ye is also entitled to 15% of the proceeds from the sale due to his existing royalties deal.
Now, it's worth bearing in mind that some of the Yeezys listed may be regional exclusives, but here is a rundown of all the pairs pictured on the adidas UK site. If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair of these Yeezys (for potentially the last time ever) then be sure to hit the release reminder links below, and look for them to be loaded up at adidas CONFIRMED at some point over the next few days.
Up next, here's a closer look at the new Yeezy 350 V2 "Carbon Beluga".
