These Banana-Themed Nike Dunks Are Seriously Appealing

Fruity-themed Dunks seem to be all the rage at Nike right now, with an SB pack set to drop in time for 4/20 and a separate “Avocado” themed pair having recently surfaced. Now, the Swoosh brand are set to add to the fruit with the new, women’s-exclusive Nike Dunk Low “Banana,” the cleanest pick of the bunch so far, and a pair with huge day-to-day appeal.

Dressed up in creamy white and bright yellow, the “Banana” Dunk Low has been designed to mimic a peeled banana. The majority of the smooth leather upper takes on Nike’s ever-popular “Coconut Milk” shade to create a base that mimics the fruit’s flesh, whilst bright yellow leather dresses the quarters and Swoosh to allude to peeling skin.

At the heel tab, a brown suede panel mimics the fruit’s tip, and the super-sweet pair come finished with produce sticker-themed branding on the quarter. This all sits atop a matching “Coconut Milk” coloured midsole, which completes the “Banana” Dunk colourway.

There’s currently no set release date for the “Banana” Nike Dunk Low, but expect them to drop alongside some of the other summer-ready fruit-inspired releases over the next few months.
