These Crimson Wales Bonner x adidas Sambas Embrace Tomato Girl Fall

In case you haven’t already heard, red is truly the colour of the season, and we’re happy to see Grace Wales Bonner getting in on the action. After Vogue coined the phase ‘Tomato Girl Fall’ earlier this year, red sneakers (particularly adidas ones) have been all over our TikTok feed, so we’ve been keeping an eye out for the best red pairs to add to our rotation. Now, Bobby Hundreds has got us excited about an upcoming "Burgundy" adidas x Wales Bonner Samba, that comes dressed up in a crimson hue.

Taking to IG to share a look at the new pair, The Hundreds co-founder revealed that 2023’s favourite silhouette is still a focus for the duo. Breaking up the dark red base with contrasting cream accents, the pair is slightly reminiscent of the duo’s 2022 "Orange Ecru" effort, although this time it boasts a fold-over tongue, and it hopefully won’t set you back £600 at resale.

There’s no word on a release date for the upcoming "Burgumdy" Wales Bonner x adidas Sambas just yet, but be sure to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for more info as it comes in.
