We bet you've never seen the Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Mismatch" before, and we wouldn't be surprised, as only one pair exists on the planet we call Earth. Before his partnership with adidas, Kanye West and the Swoosh came up with the ultra coveted Air Yeezy line. As limited as it was, this sample is without a doubt the most exclusive pair there is.
Images courtesy of reputable sneaker insider English Sole, the "Mismatch" features a classic leather and mesh construction complete with the rugged rubber strap that wraps around the vamp. The iconic rubber heel graces the back, while the legendary falcon motif is immortalised along the tongue, inspired by the bird gods of Ancient Egypt.
Getting its unique colour palette from the "Platinum" and the "Solar", you'll even find the red inner lining and soft green Air midsole here as well complete with Ye's signature, resulting in what is probably the most perfect Yeezy ever made.
Even though Kanye wouldn't mind if Nike brought back the Air Yeezy line, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Mismatch" will never, ever get a public release, though it's interesting to see what could have been. Let us know what you think of this hybrid colourway, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Carbon" just got an updated name and release date!
