There's no doubt in any sneakerhead's mind that the Air Jordan 1 is the most iconic shoe ever made. A partnership between Nike and Michael Jordan, the legend began all the way back in 1985 when MJ's mother, Deloris, convinced him to join the Beaverton brand rather than adidas - and the rest is history. With that said, you can just imagine how excited we were when we found a pair of original, unworn "Chicago" signed by the man himself.
Surfacing on an auction listing on eBay, the AJ1s are painted in the classic red, white, and black colour palette that's as iconic as they comes. Crafted from leather, a black Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels while the winged basketball is debossed across the ankle. Of course, you can't talk about this particular shoe without mentioning his Airness' signature that's scrawled across the left toebox.
According to the listing, there are only about fifteen sets of DS pairs in this SKU. While the price tag might seem a bit farfetched, a worn pair sold for $615,000 back in 2020, and that wasn't even in the best of conditions.
Priced at an eye-watering $1 million, these Nike Air Jordan 1s may not be for the faint of heart. With that said, if you're made of money then head on over to the eBay listing to find out more! Let us know what you think of this, and in related news, official images of the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" have arrived!
