Nike Dunks are still one of the most popular silhouettes on the market right now, without a doubt. So why not make them sustainable? Nike is doing just that. As part of the ongoing “Next Nature” project, 3 classic Nike Dunk colourways (“Black/White”, “White/Sail” and “Pale Coral”) that are crafted from sustainable materials are set to release soon.
The Dunk itself is a classic basketball sneaker that’s currently experiencing a huge resurgence in popularity. It was first introduced in 1984 and was designed by Peter Moore. While there are plenty of new colourways released regularly, many sneakerheads are pining after simple classics, so these new variants will make them more accessible for those looking to add to their collection.
All three pairs will be crafted from two-tone flyleather and showcase classic panelling across the uppers. Nike Swoosh logos make an appearance along with classic Nike branding also located on both the tongue and the heels. A perforated toe box finishes the look while this all sits on top of a grind rubber sole unit that conceals plenty of cushioning to ensure that you’ll never want to step out of these.
If you’re looking to get your hands on any of these upcoming 3 pairs, the good news is that they have a release date set for the 3rd November at select retailers.
