Three Yeezy Foam Runners Are Arriving in Time for Summer

If you haven’t managed to get your hands on a pair of Yeezy Foam Runners yet, now might be your chance. The controversial silhouette seems like it's very much here to stay right now, with three more pairs on the way in time for summer. Arriving in “Onyx” and “Sulfur,” as well as restocking in the fan-fave “Sand” colourway, here’s what to expect from the releases.

The Foam Runner was one of those silhouettes that took the sneaker world by storm last year, although it wasn’t always for the right reasons. That being said, sneakerheads seem to have really warmed to the silhouette, and we can see it being a rotation essential for many as the weather starts to heat up too.

Crafted from a one-piece mix of comfy EVA foam and planet-friendly algae, the Yeezy Foam RNNR is essentially a slip-on clog, or a Croc for Yeezy fans. The materials that make up the silhouette make it super-comfortable (it’s only really rivalled by the famed Yeezy Slide) and the perforated design allows the foot to stay ventilated, which also adds to the overall comfort factor.

The “Onyx” pair takes on a dark grey shade, which is a tone that seems to be doing the rounds at Yeezy HQ right now. They’re one of the darkest options we’ve seen the shoe in yet, and a great pick if you’re planning to wear them outdoors or in transitional weather.

The “Sulfur” iteration is also new, and again, one of Yeezy’s shades of the moment. Dressed in pale yellow, the “Sulfur” Foam Runner is set to release in family sizing – the slip-on nature of the shoe makes it a perfect pick for little ones!

Finally, one of the earliest variations, the “Sand” colourway, is set to see a restock later this year. Easily one of the most wearable and summer ready colourways, this pair takes on one of the earth tones that Yeezy seems to do best.
