Throw it Back to School Sports Day with the Nike Dunk High "Athletic Club"

No matter where you look, retro vibes are everywhere this season – and trust Nike to be leading the pack. The Beaverton brand knew what they were doing when they revived the Dunk last year, and they’re set to continue the momentum through this one too. This new pair takes the trend to new heights though – the already old-school silhouette has been given finishing touches that wouldn't look out of place on the sports field, in the Nike Dunk High Athletic Club "Grey Red"

Joining the rest of Nike’s “Athletic Club” lineup and coming in a collegiate-based grey, red, white and blue colour scheme, the “Grey Red” Athletic Club Dunk High celebrates vintage sportswear. The shoe’s mixed material construction references this too, as the collar is done up in a sweater-like terry cloth. Elsewhere, a white leather base comes topped with soft, grey suede overlays, and the word “Dunk” can be seen embossed on the lateral heel of the shoe.

The Athletic Club “Grey Red” Dunks also feature a scene-stealing bright red Swoosh, and special-edition Nike Athletic Club branding on the tongue tabs and insoles. A crisp white midsole and grey rubber outsole completes the colourway.
