Tinker Hatfield is the man behind some of the most legendary Nike silhouettes of all time, and now he’s back once again with a brand-new design that’s set to hit stores soon. After creating the Air Max 1, Air Jordan 3 and the Air Max 90 to name just a few, you ’d think that Hatfield might have had enough, however the Nike Zoom Court Dragon proves that the creative flair within him still shines bright.
Decked out in a black colourway that’s accentuated with hits of deep red, the pair is inspired by tennis and basketball sneakers from the ‘90s and combines retro design with present-day technology for a strong final product.
Branding comes in the form of enlarged and blacked-out Nike Swoosh logos across the rear of the kicks, along with embroidered Swooshes on the tongue tabs and Hatfield’s signature. Faux animal-print panels are located across the uppers while the kicks are fastened with a cross Velcro strap system as well as traditional laces. This is all placed upon a blacked-out midsole that conceals Zoom cushioning for plenty of support.
If you’re looking to add this upcoming pair to your rotation then you’ll have to stay tuned until we know more, as no release details have been unveiled by Nike just yet. In the meantime, make sure to keep it locked for all the latest and while you are here take a look at this brand-new Air Jordan 1 Low!
