The New Balance 2002R silhouette continues to enjoy its time in the streetwear space with a variety of colourways. Alongside some of the high-profile collaborations this year, a good number of in-line renditions have made their way onto everyone's Instagram feed. Two of the upcoming versions are the New Balance 2002R "Plum" and "Rust Oxide", and we've got a closer look at the duo here.
New Balance's 2002R has emerged with various materials, some with a full-leather upper and others with weather-resistant panels. This time, we're seeing the 2002R bringing it back to basics: a blend of suede and mesh toolings.
The NB2002R "Plum" features a predominantly burgundy upper with contrasting brown and silver counterparts. On the other hand, the NB2002R "Rust Oxide" sees a bold rustic body — also with silver elements like the sidewall "N" logos and branded heel tabs. Both pairs are complete with an N-ergy sole unit underfoot that provides comfortable all-day cushioning.
The New Balance 2002R "Plum" and "Rust Oxide" colourways are slated to hit New Balance and select retailers very soon. Make sure you check back here at The Sole Supplier for the latest New Balance release dates. In related news, the New Balance 2002R "New Vintage" Pack provides luxe energy.
