The Air Jordan 1 is a shoe steeped in sneaker history, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the model should be limited to its original shape. Over the years, numerous versions of the sneaker have opened it up to new audiences, and in 2022 Jordan Brand launched a new model especially for the ladies: the Air Jordan 1 Elevate, or LV8D.

Sticking to classic Jordan colour blocking (the style even launched in a Bred style colourway) the Elevate AJ1 is pretty much exactly what its name suggests. A stacked sole unit adds platform-style height to the pair, while Jordan branding has undergone a minimalist makeover in the form of debossed detailing and outlined stitching details. Though a great sneaker in its own right, it's quite the departure from your typical Jordan 1, so if you’re yet to pick up a pair, check out the reel above to see how The Sole Womens’ team styles the female-focused silhouette.
To keep things simple, we’ve opted to dress the “Stealth/Titanium” pair with a matching grey sweatshirt and some cargos. It’s a laid-back look that tends to work with any Jordan silhouette, but we love how the baggy trousers work with the chunkier build. Team with a cropped jacket to keep those proportions in check!
For the “Lucky Green” colourway, we felt like a colour-coordinated look was on the cards. A bright white vest and comfy green jogger combo is giving us all the spring vibes, though you already know we’ll be throwing on a puffer jacket if we need to leave the house right now.
