A UK Release Could Be Happening For The Off-White x Serena Williams x Nike Air Max 97 “QUEEN”

There's nothing worse for us UK sneakerheads than seeing the words "US Exclusive". Okay, so it's understandable that some sneakers are limited to geographic regions but should that really be the case for trainers as sought-after as the Off-White x Nike's?!

Virgil's latest style is actually a three-way collab as the creative visionary joins Nike and tennis legend, Serena Williams. The Grand Slam winner adds a feminine touch to the deconstructed Air Max 97 complete with a rainbow midsole.

Undoubtedly another striking design, it came as disappointing news when rumours suggested a US-only release. That looked to be the case when these launched unexpectedly via Nike SNKRS US earlier this week. But before you accept the reality of never owning this coveted style, there could be a glimmer of hope…

Images just surfaced of a conversation with Nike's UK customer service. After requesting info on the Off-White x Serena Williams x Air Max 97 “QUEEN”,  a Nike representative replied, "This is scheduled for release tentatively on September 15. But this may still change so please keep a close watch on our site.";
