Trends are such strange things, aren't they? One minute, something can be old and dated, and just a few minutes later, they're the biggest fashion statement of the year. Whether you like it or not, the 'dad shoe' trend is here to stay, and the latest brand looking to challenge Balenciaga's current reign is British sportswear label Umbro.
Dubbed Bumpy, we actually got a brief glimpse of this sneaker yesterday, when it surfaced as the UmRunner. Available in three distinct colourways, including a stealthy black variation, a clean white edition, and a multicoloured iteration, the shoe is constructed of a premium combination of leather and mesh. A rugged rubber outsole adds to the normcore vibe, and Umbro branding on the tongue and lateral side round off the design.
According to reports, the Umbro Bumpy was actually released exclusively for South Korea on March 9th, and sold out within just three days. The sneaker will be restocked over at Umbro Korea's site at the end of March, however, there's no word yet if these will see a wider release, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier!
