Comfy styles are all the rage in footwear these days, as mules, Birkenstocks and UGGs continue their upward trajectory. Naturally, the sneaker scene has to respond somehow, and what better way to go about it than entering its Nike Moc renaissance era?
With a few pairs in the pipeline for the rest of 2023, the Swoosh is set to kick things off by collaborating with long-time partner UNDERCOVER. Hot off the heels of its Air Force 1 collab, the Japanese brand is bringing its own spin to the laceless Moc Flow, so let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the link-up.
First launched in the 90s as part of Nike’s ACG line, the Air Moc has become a bit of a cult classic among comfort enthusiasts, with a couple of evolutions providing new spins on the sneaker over the years. The upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike Moc Flow is set to arrive in a suede build across two colourways: a low-key “Light Bone” and a louder brown cow print. Underfoot, neutral-toned foam sole units provide a sturdy base, reminding us of its ACG heritage.
As expected, both versions of the UNDERCOVER Moc Flow come stamped with dual branding hits, as well as Jun Takahashi’s signature “Balance” and “Chaos” mantra, which hits the heel in a particularly bold fashion. Set to arrive in special-edition co-branded boxes, the collab is expected to land very soon, so be sure to hit the release reminder button to be notified as soon as they drop.
Up next, a "Fossil" Stüssy x Nike Air Penny 2 is on the way.
