Union LA Commemorate 30 Years With A Series Of High-Heat Collaborations

Having opened its doors in '91 as the first "streetwear" store in the world, even before streetwear itself was really a thing, Union LA now want to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a series of high-heat collaborations, including one with Michael Jordan's world-famous Jordan Brand.

The Union x Jordans that have come before have always been immensely popular, with the Union x Jordan 1 'Black' from 2018 still re-selling for around £1500 here in the UK. It will be to the delight of many J fans that there is another collaboration on the horizon ready to steal the spotlight in 2021.

We have no idea what this Jordan will be yet, but judging from the popularity of the "Off Noir" and "Guava Ice" Air Jordan 4 iterations from last year, it wouldn't be a surprise if this partnership is bigger and better than anything we've seen before.

Other collaborations that Union Los Angeles have revealed will be taking place throughout 2021 will be with the likes of BAPE, Off-White, Stüssy, Fear of God Essentials and Cactus Plant Flea Market. A Bathing Ape is a particularly meaningful collaboration, as Union LA was one of the first stores, not only in America but outside of Japan generally, to sell products produced by the early Urahara brands.
