After getting our best look yet at the "University Gold" last week, we're now getting up close and personal with the Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk "Black". Set to be Virgil Abloh's first all-original Swoosh sneaker, he showcased this exact colourway earlier this year during New York Fashion Week 2020, and honestly, we think it's the best of the bunch!
With a breathable mesh base, the "Black" is held together via a glossy leather cage, resulting in a design that looks a lot like the Nike P-6000. "Green Strike" accents make their way throughout, featuring prominently on the rubberised Nike Swoosh that glides across the side panels, complete with a contrasting orange tag at the tail for a deconstructed aesthetic.
Other signature Off-White touches include quoted text along the laces and medials, and moving downwards, you'll be greeted with an Air midsole that bears a striking resemblance to the unit found on the Nike Dunk. To round it all off, a subtle "Nike x Off" tag graces the tongue, solidifying this exclusive collaboration.
We're not entirely sure when the Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk "Black" is set to drop, but rumour has it that they'll be dropping alongside two other colourways this summer. Let us know what you think of Abloh's latest creation, and while you're here, take a closer look at the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "Canary Yellow"!
